Artists leave an awesome legacy for others to follow

Artists are given a God given talent that is passed down for generations. Each artist has a passion deep inside that cannot die. A flame that will not swelter out. Artists are a big part of the heart and soul of culture today. The spirit of entrepreneurship.

They persevere through their hardships, starvation, and aggravations until they get a break. Acknowledgement in the world that they have made a difference. A lasting impact in the lives of people who will look back and say: "Now that is artwork." Thank God for you and your marvelous talent.

I was born into a family of artists. Perseverance is an action, not just a word in our daily lives. A true artist knows the difference. They fight to keep going against drastic odds. They are warriors for our culture and an unseen future. They are icons for our children to look up to.

An artist's work is an inner expression of who they truly are. While the world stands in awe of the masterpiece, the artist shouts out a joyful glee beaming from deep inside their soul. The eyes to a human body reflect what is truly inside of us. Artwork is a form of truth each artist uses to build up character in a culture.

Art is a way of life, carried out in an action that prompts an even greater belief. Art strengthens us during hard times. It encourages us to keep going. Artists truly have an amazing talent given by God to help people. They stand out alone in a culture, yet are given a massive undertaking of accomplishing a mighty task.

A soul feeling worthless cries out in disbelief, horror, and utter abandonment. Art is a blessing to our culture because it helps pull people out of their oppression and heart aches. It gives us a flickering courage deep inside to keep going. To not give up. It pushes us into a realm of a deeper sense of purpose. Art has a way of encouraging people to see they do serve a purpose in life and there is something worth living for.

I can write novels, poems and articles. Yet I am an artist with a brewing flame, feeding the talent I have been given to serve an ultimate purpose. I can't give up. I can't give in. Regardless of what life dishes out to each of us, or what hardships come to rob, steal, and destroy...an artist is a gift from God.

So yes, art is a passion to succeed on every level in life. No matter what. Because art is all around us in the beautiful world in which we live. Our children's children will look up at a masterpiece in a museum, taking on a whole new meaning in the soul of the art work. They will walk away pondering the image that was placed before them with a purpose in mind. They will draw strength in knowing the artist painstakingly put that piece together for a reason. A child knows deep inside there is a higher power and a purpose for living.

Art helps feed the flame each human soul needs deep inside to keep going. It is an awesome legacy for others to follow. With each hardship in the life of past artist's who have died on, they have left their passion behind for what art stands for. They have stood the test of time with their work, believing in a hope of a future they did not get to see.

So regardless of what you are going through today, or what you may face tomorrow, don't lose hope. Look at some art work! Besides, us artist's were put here for a reason anyway. Even if it is just to encourage one person in the work God has given us to carry out. If one person is blessed by one piece of art work, look at the awesome legacy it has just left behind for them to pass down through their own family. Now that is a gift from God.

Art is also a gift to the person creating it as it can be fun and even relaxing during the creative process if everything is going right. I love listening to good music when I am creating art. Enjoyed looking at your photos. Keep up the good work!

Excellent Hub. As a former teacher I can say how sad it made me feel to see more and more schools dropping the arts from the school curriculum because of budget constaints. I still remember a speaker I heard years ago who said that what the world needs is more poets and artists and fewer accountants and lawyers and I couldn't agree more. Keep up the good work!
